Building 1 complete!

We are proud at Kimbilio to announce the completion of the first building at Maison Kimbilio! The building is a depot and garage which will allow us to securely store building materials in the short term and food, other equipment and goods in the longterm. It also allows our builders a more comfortable place to sleep than in the tiny blue tent under the mango tree where they started off! We started the building at the start of October and finished 2 weeks ago. I have been wanting to show you the process of the construction but keep forgetting to take my camera with me! Thankfully I remembered this morning, when we were transporting the metal doors for the toilet and shower block (the next project we have on the go!), despite the fact that it was raining and the sky was grey I hope I still managed to capture the scene (see final photo)!
