Kimbilio is now the proud owners of a shipping container kindly donated by Bournik Kabengele of the Charlotte Ilunga Centre. Bournik sent this container from Australia full of items for the Charlotte Ilunga Centre http://clfoundation.wordpress.com/news/ He kindly offered us the emptied container which we will be able to use initialy for secure storage at the building site and later as part of the carpentry workshop. The next challenge was how to transport it from where it was being stored at the Cite des Jeunes on the other side of Lububmashi out to the Maison Kimbilio site. Finally a solution was found in the form of a man with a lorry, winch and team of strong guys working alongside the Kimbilio team! The whole process was finally finished with the container placed on four concrete blocks in its new location around 21.30! Thanks to everyone involved, it will be a big help for the project in the years to come!
