I've just got home after a lovely afternoon swim and BBQ at Les Cascades with Kimbilio and her friends! Les Cascades is just outside of Lubumbashi on the Kasumbelesa road. We went there to celebrate Kimbilio's 2nd birthday and also sadly to say goodbye to Delphine, Celine and Shahed who have been helping us out regularly at the Kimbilio building site on Saturday afternoons carrying bricks amongst other activities! Delphine and Celine teach at the Belgium School and Shahed works for the UN. They have given their time and energy freely to support us and our building work as well as getting alongside the children. They were kind enough to lay on the food and make a cake for their own goodbye party! We really appreciate them very much and we will miss them lots! Anyone else in the Lubumbashi area with spare time on your hands, you are very welcome to join us!!!
