Today the 16th June is Kimbilio's 2nd birthday and also the International Day of the African Child. We are really excited to launch the new Kimbilio website as a way of celebrating this day! Please check it out at www.kimbiliocongo.org
We are also planning a bbq at the weekend with the children, Kimbilio team and various of our local supporters to celebrate our birthday and say goodbye to Celine and Delphine, two teachers from the Belgian School in Lubumbashi who have been helping us lots over the last year and are leaving Lubumbashi! I am starting a new blog http://www.kimbiliocongo.org/blog/ which is linked to the new website and will be specifically about Kimbilio, I am also planning to keep up the Life in Lubumbashi blog too which will be mainly Lubumbashi info and not be as Kimbilio focused in the future. We are thankful to the Morel Trust for the finances for this new website, to Rich Coan of Richard Coan design for all his creativity in the design and also to a number of teachers at the Belgian School, Lubumbashi for the French translations!
