We had a great Saturday afternoon out at the Maison Kimbilio site. The tasks today involved carrying bricks, shifting earth to fill the foundations and leveling off a temporary football field! There has been a lot of progress since the photo of the completed foundations on the 31st May. The countdown is still on as to whether or not we will get the building finished before I head back to the UK in July! There were five nationalities present today, American, Bangladeshis, Belgians, Congolese and I represented the English! Once everyone was utterly exhausted those in the team who still had some energy, tested out the new football pitch resulting in a 5 all draw and the ball stuck in the mango tree! Anyone that would like to join us, we are generally there most Saturday mornings or afternoons! You are most welcome!
